Welcome
NATHAN JONES - Independent for Coogee
"I care about the Australian environment more than the Greens...
I care about workers rights more than Labor....
I care about an efficient government more than the Liberal coalition"
I am running as an independent candidate in the state seat of Coogee on March 26.
After completing University, I have spent seven years as an accountant and the last three as a High School Economics teacher.
I am married and my wife has worked as a Registered Nurse for the last decade.
We have seen the state goverrnment go from bad to worse and our taxes are constantly wasted on transport projects that never get built.
Like all of the other good candidates, I strongly support better transport, health and education services to be provided by government.
They are all promising more but refusing to say how they will pay for everything.
My plan is very clear. I want more money spent on public services and infrastructure and less money to go to state government politicans, administration and political staffers.
I am trying to get rid of state governments. But in order to do that I need to be in the system (elected) in order to change the system.
The Eastern Suburbs is a great place to live. Local residents should have a greater say on the things that affect their lives. For example the local community as represented by the local council should be able to decide on the height limit of the Coogee Bay Hotel Redevelopment - NOT the 132 politicians who live across the entire state of NSW.

Help needed:
You can vote for me - and tell your local mates to vote for me.
On and before election day - I need people who can hand out fliers/ letterbox drop.
Financial support - any amount is appreciated.
You can join "No state governments" - we need 500 members to become a registered Australian political party. This will really help in future elections! Click here: Join
